Bed In Mommy's Room

Mikayla has been sleeping with me for over a year now. I LOVE having her next to me. I feel like she is safer with me than at the other end of the house. With that said- I have been kicked one too many times. I have a Queen size bed, but somehow almost get pushed off of it. I really would like for Mikayla to sleep in her own room, but I'm not comfortable with that yet. I have found a solution I think. It's called "Dr. Watters Gentle Air Child's Portable Overnight Bed." It is made specifically for children. You can't tell it very well from these pictures because the sheet is over it, but there is a raised ledge all the way around so that she isn't likely to fall off. Not to mention-she's on the floor, so if she falls it isn't far. I'm also in the room! For about the last week Mikayla has been sleeping on the floor in my room on some foam floor stuff, blanket, and sheets. She actually made it the last 2 nights without getting in the bed with me. I think this air mattress will be more comfortable, and hopefully she is going to sleep all night there. She still has her 3 BLANKETS with her. I'm heading to bed now myself! Wish me luck!

These were all taken at Mimi and Pop's house on Saturday. I'll put some other pictures on there that were from a different perspective- taken by me and my camera. :-)

So Sorry!!!!!

Okay, I have been slacking on posting. That is due mostly to the fact that I have been using Dial-up Internet at the house for the past week!!!! I just get on at work, which is why I haven't been too stressed about calling and complaining. I just tried, and Internet is miraculously working again. Mikayla and I are heading to Haynesville tomorrow because family from out of town are visiting, so I'll try to get some pictures and get them posted before the end of the weekend.

After The Rain

We have had a LOT of rain, and Mikayla doesn't really understand that very well. She wanted to go play outside. We had just been playing around in our PJ's. Actually she had just been walking around in her shirt, which is why you see that she totally doesn't match in these pictures. Of course that makes them even better!!! What you can't see is that she got a pair of my socks off the couch and had put them on underneath her rubber ducky boots.
